Rakshbandhan

I am from Gujarat. The festival of divine relationship of brother and sister comes nearer. I don’t want to write just like stereotyped matter i.e. articles published on this festival in magazine etc.  My topic is something “Hat ke”. To my parents, we both daughters, no son. And fortunately I never thought that how would be my life if I have brother and never felt absence of brother. I am younger one so sometimes I thought that at the time of my birth my parents might wished for second child as son, but I came…But my parents never ignored me and treated me as “UNWANTED”. I am thankful to God for that. When I give my intro to someone and say that we both sister, no brother…some people ask that “Don’t have you brother?”…Why this type of question arise that I can’t understand. Mentality of our people is like that one should have brother/son otherwise the family is not complete.

I observed that in some family some particular kind of work performed by man only, it may be very common work but it should not be done by girl/lady OR girls/lady can’t do that….why????

On this day a sister tie up a bend on his brother’s hand with good wishes and simultaneously a brother also bound himself to protect her sister from every devil, but you people have ever thought that “when a girl/lady/women abused by some men at that time a man ever thought that she might be a sister of other’s OR his sister may be abused by others?” I want comments on this question, so anybody else who can justify to my question…???

In brief you should be strong enough to protect yourself independently….these are my views. Being girl/women if you have brother then it would be nice enough and if you don’t have then also no problem….LIVE LIFE LIVELY….
